Meghan Hughes devotes herself to exceeding expectations when it comes to finding a spot to call home. Originally from Northwest Montana, Meghan has called Austin home since 2005. Living and working in the capital city has afforded her the opportunity to build a great network and embrace all the fun that Austin has to offer.
In 2003, Meghan graduated from The University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. After college she moved to British Columbia to enjoy the great outdoors and begin a career in hospitality. She moved to Austin, sight unseen, and soon thereafter purchased a home in East Austin where she currently resides. She loves spending time hitting the trails with her Great Dane, Cash, and exploring the culinary offerings this vibrant city has to offer. Meghan leads with her heart and loves to give back. She currently sits on the development board for People’s Community Clinic, does a lot of work with Urban Roots, and has spent many years participating as a mentor in the Big Brothers, Big Sisters program, in fact, Meghan and her Little were named Big and Little of Central Texas in 2015.
Combining her passion for real estate and her extensive experience in high-end hospitality, Meghan acknowledges that owning a home is the investment of a lifetime. She balances her laid-back and upbeat nature with a genuine desire to help her clients realize their real estate goals. She is receptive to her clients’ needs and objectives while being sensitive to the emotional and financial stakes involved.
When looking for a broker, Meghan felt right at home with The Boutique and the choice for where to start her career was obvious. She is excited to be a part of a group of successful real estate professionals and looks forward to helping you find your special place in this wonderful city!
